Viewers provides two delivery actions for authorized users. Share Viewer Access invites recipients to inspect selected viewers. Send Package Link prepares selected files and emails a download link. Choose the action that matches the recipient's task.

Sharing controls depend on your role and project access. Before sending, verify the recipients and selected facilities. A viewer share is read-only and does not grant general project administration or permission to change inspection records.

Invite someone to a viewer

  1. Find the facility in Viewers. Open Manage > Share Viewer Access, or use the corresponding Batch Actions entry for several facilities.
  2. Review the project and facility context shown in the dialog.
  3. Under Recipients, type each email address and press Enter to add it to the recipient list. Check every address.
  4. Review Allow package downloads. It is checked in the dialog by default; clear it when the recipient should only review the viewer.
  5. Select the intended facilities in the table. Confirm the selected count.
  6. Choose Send Invites.

Tell the recipient to use the invitation and the intended account. They may need to complete sign-in or the account setup presented by the invitation. Sending an invitation is not proof that it has been accepted.

Understand the recipient's access

The recipient can inspect the viewers included in the share. Shared contexts do not allow model edits, saved-measurement changes, processing actions, or general management. Package downloads must also satisfy the share's download setting and any account restrictions.

If the recipient sees an invalid or unavailable share, confirm the address used, the invitation, and whether the share is still active. Do not broaden workspace membership merely to work around a share problem without checking the intended access.

Email a package link

  1. Open Send Package Link from the row's Manage drawer or Batch Actions.
  2. Add the intended email addresses under Recipients, pressing Enter after each.
  3. Choose the Package Contents. Available choices can include Raw Upload, Converted Upload, Object Files, Point Cloud, Nexus Model, GLB Model, and Pano Viewer.
  4. Select Expires after: 7, 14, 30, or 60 days. The dialog initially selects 14 days.
  5. Add an optional Note explaining the delivery.
  6. Select the facilities and verify the selected count and context.
  7. Use the dialog's confirmation action to queue the package.

The Portal reports that recipients will be emailed when the ZIP is ready. A queued package is not yet a delivered download. Wait for the preparation result before reporting the delivery as complete.

Correct common sharing problems

  • Send action disabled: confirm valid recipients, selected facilities, and required package components.
  • Recipient cannot download: check Allow package downloads and account restrictions.
  • Package email not yet received: check whether preparation is still queued or processing.
  • Expired package link: arrange a fresh authorized delivery.
  • Wrong scope: cancel before sending and reselect the intended project, phase, and facilities.
