A facility can have several representations of its capture. The combined viewer provides mode buttons for available outputs so you can inspect the same facility from different perspectives. A mode label or output indicator does not guarantee that its underlying data is ready.

Choose a representation

  • Model: inspect the textured 3D surface and use supported model tools.
  • Point Cloud: inspect the available point representation. Access it through the Model / Point Cloud toggle when offered.
  • Ortho: open an available orthomosaic output for a flattened inspection view.
  • Pano: open a prepared panoramic output.
  • Legacy: open a supported older model representation when the facility has one.

These modes complement each other. Use the representation that answers the inspection question, and identify the chosen output when reporting a problem.

Open and verify an optional output

  1. Find the facility in Viewers and inspect its Outputs indicators.
  2. Hover over the relevant indicator and read whether the output is ready, missing, or pending.
  3. Open the facility and choose the corresponding mode.
  4. Wait for the actual output to load, then move within it to confirm you are looking at the expected content.
  5. Return to another available mode if the output cannot be opened, and report the specific mode that failed.

Point-cloud metadata may still be pending. A model can also be ready while Pano or Ortho is unavailable. These are separate results with their own preparation state.

Viewing versus creating an output

Switching a mode changes the display. It does not request an export, generate a panorama, or rebuild an orthomosaic. Generation and editing belong to the authorized Workbench and staff workflows.

Some model data offers a renderer selector such as Babylon / Cesium. That choice depends on compatible data being available. Do not interpret a missing renderer as a failed upload without checking the facility's actual outputs.

Download availability is also separate from viewing. A user may be allowed to inspect an output but restricted from exporting it. See Deliverables for package contents and trial/share limitations.

Resolve missing or unexpected views

  • Button disabled: check the explanation and output readiness.
  • Wrong facility: use Change… and verify the selected facility after switching.
  • Point cloud not visible: wait for loading, use the available view-reset control, and confirm point-cloud metadata is ready.
  • Legacy works but Model does not: report the missing or failed modern model output; availability in one format does not establish availability in another.
  • Ortho or Pano absent: ask the project team whether that output was requested and generated.

Include the workspace, project, facility, chosen mode, and visible message in a Support report. An alternate working mode can let review continue while the specific output is investigated.
